Approximately 200 people attended, including alumni, parents, members of the Education
Ministry and representatives of the local Council.
The program offered a variety of courses, such as Ecological Building, Hair Styling, Coaching,
and many more.
A short film written and directed by the students, and starring local actors, was screened during
the event.
“It is a privilege for us to have an integral part in positively affecting the future of these young
people,” said Dr. Shlomit Shulov-Barkan, who coordinates the program at Meir Panim. “We
are actively bettering their futures. As one mother said to me, ‘You saved my daughter.’ I have
nothing to add,” concluded Shulov-Barkan.
Next week, Meir Panim will witness the opening of an Ecological Garden, which was built by
participants of the Meir Panim Vocational Training course in Yokneam.
