Lighting up Faces on Jerusalem Day
January 1, 1970

The Jerusalem branch was dressed in blue and white, with music playing and flags fluttering in the breeze.

In addition to the regular menu, a mouth-watering buffet was set up, offering fresh fruits, beautiful cakes, buttery croissants, home-baked breads and so much more.

Some diners were moved to tears by the warm gesture, and all were swept away by the festive mood permeating the air.

None of this would have been possible without the local bakeries and other eating establishments who graciously donated their efforts. Their profound caring for their fellow Jerusalemites was felt, and tasted, in their delicious goods.

May this be one of many more happy Jerusalem Days.
