Meir Panim’s mission has expanded during Israel’s time of need in war. In line with our mission to uplift those in greatest need, we have been caring for front-line soldiers and displaced families, more than 500,000 people who are not where they belong each night, tragically.

Because of our relationships, with individuals, municipalities, and community leaders, Meir Panim has the ability to swoop in and help as needed, and recently we did so for a very worthwhile cause, especially in these dark days.

While delivering meals for front-line troops, we heard one of the brave soldiers was scheduled to get married that week but needed to cancel due to his service. At Meir Panim, we truly believe that moments of joy are more important than ever, and wanted to make sure this young couple had the opportunity to get married and share their joy with as many people as possible.

Our team worked tirelessly on every detail to transform a base into a beautiful wedding venue, from the decor to the meal, bringing so much joy and hope to the couple and all the guests.

There is no greater feeling than helping a new family start their lives with love and community. Especially amid a war, it was an honor to provide a moment of joy and a welcome reminder that love is stronger than hate.
