As part of Israel’s national “Good Deeds Day” – an annual occasion where people come together to perform acts of kindness, Meir Panim’s relief center in Or Akiva hosted a dedicated and hard-working group of young schoolchildren.
Together with volunteers from the Hadera police force, the children packed bags with fruits and vegetables, matzah and other foodstuffs to be distributed to needy families in time for Passover. They then loaded the packages into the police cars, which will be making the deliveries.
Meir Panim would like to thank all the volunteers who give so generously of their time to make sure that those in need have food for the holiday.
