Mothers From Yokneam Become Computer Saavy
January 1, 1970

During the class, the women enrolled learned how to surf the Internet and write emails. The purpose of the class is to help narrow the digital gap that exists between mothers and their computer savvy kids.

According to one of the teachers, the class really helps mothers to gain confidence when it comes to learning about technology. “It also allows mothers and children to form a special bond. “Mothers are now able to spend more time with their children surfing the web, an activity that is second nature for their children,” said the teacher. “The children are so proud of their mothers and what they have accomplished.”

During the recent graduation ceremony, Tami Rosh, Head of the Welfare Department at the Yokne’am Municipality, expressed her pride of the new graduates. “The sky is the limit for all of you,” she said. “Keep trying and don’t ever be afraid to make your dreams true.”
