Good Deeds Day at Or Akiva

City Officials, Chaim Gali, and Eyal Manzir, Tel David’s Commander and officers from the Police Force, along with representatives from Bank Mizrachi Tefachot from the Orot Mall, students from the Beit Ekshtein school, the Atidim school, and the Sahav Haofek school, along with many other volunteers from Or Akiva and adjacent areas, joined together at Or Akiva for Good Deeds Day.

From 7 am to 5 pm, Meir Panim’s Or Akiva was off spreading goodwill to the community!

In the morning they distributed fruits and vegetables and then packed and delivered food baskets for local residents of Pardes Chana. In the afternoon, they visited local pre-schools, and the officers gave presentations with Ilanit about Good Deeds Da. Students received surprise packages of gifts and treats. Finally, the group visited the Pardes Chana Ethiopian community and distributed food baskets to needy families.

Good Deeds Day at Dimona

Mayors Benny Biton of Dimona and Gadi Alfassi of Naot Chovav, joined high school volunteers from Meir Panim’s Dimona After School Center, for Good Deeds Day.

They spent time visiting with Holocaust survivors at our Holocaust Survivors program, and together with them, cleaned out and cleared out a local park space.

What a sight! It warmed all our hearts, to see the intergenerational activity, of the youth volunteers empowering and working together with the elderly Holocaust Survivors.

Good Deeds Day at Jerusalem

At our Jerusalem Restaurant Style Soup Kitchen, we hosted two volunteers from the Ministry of Justice, local volunteers and student volunteers.
