Last week, for the first time since before COVID, Meir Panim’s branch managers and administrative staff came together for an evening of collaboration, team building, and fun.
This group, representing each of our branch managers from Tzfat, Tiberias, Or Akiva, Jerusalem, and Dimona was the first opportunity for several pairs to meet in person (as opposed to their regular communication via WhatsApp groups and phone calls), to share stories and wisdom, and ways that we can work together for the betterment of each community.
The evening began with a mosaic art workshop where each individual worked on a separate piece of the project that when brought together created the full Meir Panim logo in tiles. This represented each branch’s contribution to Meir Panim’s larger goal, and how although we are apart geographically, together we form one Meir Panim.
Following the workshop was a festive dinner at the Port of Ceasarea where our branch managers were able to continue bonding, and for once, be taken care of, just as they do for thousands of others each day at their branches. At each seat was a question prepared relating to their work that they would share with the group- the day that has been the most inspiring, the funniest thing that has happened, a tip they wish they could go back and give themselves on their first week, etc.., which provided conversation, reflection, and growth to the meal.
It was a wonderful experience, which we hope can become an annual tradition, deepening the connections between professionals and the opportunity to have a night out with a team that truly understands the meaning of each other’s lives.
