Meir Panim Update
Meir Panim Distributes 10,000 Food Cards to the Needy for Passover
January 1, 1970

Each card is worth 250 NIS or $72 and can be used to purchase holiday items such as matzah, chicken soup, vegetables, and many other staples of a Passover Seder.

In addition, over 1,200 individuals participated in meaningful Seder ceremonies, hosted by Meir Panim in eight locations throughout the country. In the Free Restaurants where Seders were not held, volunteers distributed prepared Seder meals to needy individuals, so they too could enjoy the holiday.

Over 2,000 packages, containing fresh produce, eggs, fish, meat and wine, were distributed to less fortunate Israelis, bringing joy and meaning to the Passover season.

Many thanks to all our donors who participated in our Passover campaign.
