Representatives of the Department of Welfare, Justice Department and various non-profits involved in food distribution participated in the commission.

Meir Panim’s representatives commended the commission for its dedication to this important topic, testified that Meir Panim has had and continues to have close and consistent long-term relationships with the various government bodies, and mentioned a few opportunities for improvement.

Meir Panim hopes that by next year’s “Fight against Poverty” Day, “Israel’s needy” will no longer be in need of charitable aid.
