Hanukah Events at Meir-Panim- Power of Giving Branches Throughout Israel

Meir Panim branch in Hazor: A Hanukah party took place on Dec. 17th. A lavish food bar was set up for all 80 guests that included members of an immigrant organization and a senior facility in addition to the Meir Panim volunteers. The volunteers distributed treats from Hazor’s veteran residents. An orchestra provided musical entertainment in honor of the holiday.


Power of Giving branch in Safed: A Hanukah party took place on Dec. 18th. About 100 people participated, including the branch volunteers, “B’Seiva Tovah” members and clients of the branch.  A musical choir from B’Seivah Tovah performed old favorites.

Ashkelon: A Hanukah party was conducted for members of the “Yedei Tzadaka” organization and the branch volunteers.

Dimona: Several parties took place in town. One took place on Dec. 19th in the Meir Panim branch, in conjunction with young women from the “Bat Ami” National Service Organization. About 150 children enjoyed a variety of special activities and lavish refreshments The program included lighting the Hanukiah and distributing sufganiot.

Yerucham: A Hanukah party took place in the “Yeladudes” Youth Club. About 70 children and their family members enjoyed the various activities. The program included lighting the Hanukiah and distributing sufganiot.
