They were given an overview about Meir Panim’s relief centers and the organization’s approach of alleviating and diminishing the effects of poverty on thousands of families and children living in Israel.

During their time with Meir Panim, they visited the free restaurant in Jerusalem and were amazed to see how Meir Panim treats the poor with dignity by serving them hot meals daily. Despite the language barrier, the delegates expressed their amazement at how impactful Meir Panim’s work has been at battling poverty in Israel over the last decade.
