This past Purim, we held a fundraiser to raffle off a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Israel for two, with luxury accommodation in Jerusalem, meeting with IDF soldiers, visiting Israel’s south, touring Meir Panim headquarters, and so much more. We are thrilled to introduce you to our Israel raffle winner – Nina Israel! We asked her a few questions about her feelings about winning the trip:

Question: Nina, tell us a bit about why you stand with Israel.

Nina’s Answer: Israel has been the dream of our people, in our prayers and actions since the beginning. Even with the War, we have no other home.

Question: Why did you feel called to support Israel via Meir Panim?

Nina’s Answer: I want to support Israel in a non-political, direct way. Everyone believes in helping those who are hungry and displaced.

Question: What do you plan to get from your trip to Israel?

Nina’s Answer: I hope to get another chance to volunteer. I also want to learn more about what Meir Panim contributes to Israel, first hand. I will want to visit places that I have never seen before as well as visit family.
