On May 2, our Dimona Center memorialized Yom Hashoah/Holocaust Commemoration day with our group of seniors, many of whom are Holocaust Survivors.
This group, consisting of about 20 seniors, meets regularly, three days a week, from 8:30-2:30, with a hot breakfast and lunch and between that activity, time in the community and is staffed by a social worker.
We are fortunate to host this program which began in the fall and support the needs of these survivors as they age in community with watchful and caring professionals and volunteers.
