In the Dimona/Yerucham area, we regularly provide meals to a Holocaust Survivors day program in Yerucham. As part of Tu B’Shevat, we wanted to go beyond just nourishment—we gifted each participant a beautiful plant to liven up their home and bring a sense of renewal.
Volunteers accompanied each survivor home, helping them plant it in the perfect spot—whether in the ground or in a planter with just the right amount of sun and shade. This meaningful visit also allowed us to assess any additional needs and ensure they receive the care they deserve.
At Meir Panim, our commitment to Holocaust Survivors runs deep. As Israel holds the largest population of living survivors, we remain dedicated to providing them with the care, support, and respect they deserve.
