The Minister welcomed the organizations with warmth and admiration and particularly praised Meir Panim’s work for over a decade. The Minister also praised the Reshet Communications Network for leading the way in communal responsibility through its ongoing partnership with Meir Panim.

Israeli Judicial System Volunteers for Meir Panim

With the help of recruited employees, Meir Panim began a Passover charity drive collecting grocery items, toys, clothing and cash donations to be distributed to the local needy. This one-of-a-kind project helped bridge a gap between diverse populations and created a sense of local unity befitting the Passover holiday of freedom.

Volunteer Celebration

The volunteers were greeted by Meir Panim Director, Racheli Ibenboim and were treated to a wide array of refreshments. The volunteers were also treated to guided tours of the area. The evening ended with the distribution of awards and certificates to selected volunteers for their outstanding dedication and service to Israel’s needy.

Foundation’s Gift Feeds the Hungry in Four Cities
