For our Holocaust Survivor Day Center participants, Meir Panim’s Dimona branch is their second home and family. The center provides vital support, hot meals, activities, and most of all, a community for Holocaust survivors who are in need and alone.

While our participants are so happy to be a part of this program, we are always striving to improve and better serve the needs of this population that has already been through so much in any way we can. 

Our latest undertaking is the remodeling of the center’s space to help improve the experience of our survivors during their time there. In partnership with the municipality, Meir Panim’s Holocaust Survivor Center space in our Dimona branch will be receiving a much-needed renovation.

The updated space, will not only look better aesthetically but function better as well by creating smaller “nooks”, allowing participants to take part in separate activities and smaller conversations within the space. This will help us utilize the space better and offer multiple programs simultaneously. 

At Meir Panim, it brings us joy to continue to both provide for those in need and also beautify this space for such a worthy group of people. We look forward to unveiling the finished space both to you, our supporters, and the participants soon.
