Meir Panim Update
A night with the “Kings” raises money for Meir Panim
January 1, 1970

On Sept. 8th, at Neman Hall, the red carpet was rolled out, as people pulled up to valet their cars. After going through security, volunteers from Generation 26 were there to greet, meet, and take donations and entrance fees. Meanwhile, inside, the feng shui atmosphere coupled with gourmet sushi and a fully stocked bar, was just the beginning. DJ Eliran opened the event, but the highlight was when the three members of the Gipsy Kings family and their back up band came on and swept the audience off their feet.

Allen Nazarian and Isaac Gabai, committee members of the Generation 26 group and the events chairs, outdid themselves with ensuring the high quality of the evening. Allen said “we set out to create an awesome evening and create awareness among our members and affiliates. Our goal was to bring together a diverse crowd of young Jewish individuals in an environment where they could socialize and connect while raising money for a worthy cause. The roughly 600 people that were present are proof that we did just that.”

Meir panim thanks Allen, Isaac, Generation 26, Jconnect*LA, Arrons Tent and the Iranian-American Jewish Federation for making the evening such a success.
