In addition to all the other preparations necessary for this very important event, Zach expressed a desire to do something to help children less fortunate than him.
On a visit to Kiryat Malachi, Zach, his brother Joshua, and his parents met the children of the Meir Panim after school program. When a shared love of soccer brought the boys together on the soccer field, a decision was made. As a project for his Bar Mitzvah, Zach plans to raise money to provide the children in Kiryat Malachi with much desired sports equipment.
The boys eagerly await Zach and Josh’s return to Israel so they can continue to challenge each other both on the soccer court and off.
