Meir Panim Update
The World's Largest Matzah is Donated to Meir Panim
January 1, 1970

The matzah is a sign of appreciation for Meir Panim’s “Kulam Beseder” campaign that paired almost 4,000 needy individuals and families with hosting families for Seder meals.

The matzah, baked at the Irenstein Matzah bakery in Ashdod, is kosher for Pesach. The matzah – 3 meters high, 3.2 meters wide, weighing 60 kilos – took 40 people to bake, including 2 rappellers for the matzah holes!

The matzah was broken up and distributed amongst Meir Panim’s public Seders across Israel.
