Recognizing that many residents, both young and old, would succumb to variety of debilitating winter maladies if this situation wasn’t dealt with quickly, Strauss-Mehadrin, the Haredi dairy division within the Strauss-Elite food conglomerate and Meir Panim Relief Centers joined forces in a community outreach campaign dubbed -“This Chesed Is All Yours”- to purchase and donate electric heaters. Consumers were urged to call a special phone number if they knew of a family in need of a heater within their own community. Ronen Zohar, Director of Strauss-Dairies and Uri Mazor, Marketing Manager of Strauss-Mehadrin (pictured right), along with Rabbi Dudi Zilbershlag, Founder & Director of Meir Panim Relief Centers (left), have been directly involved in the distribution of thousands of heaters, warming the hearts and homes of needy families.
