Where there are people who seek peace, reconciliation and understanding of themselves and others, there exist the conditions for true healing. The post-Holocaust motto of “Never Again!” can be true only when the great darkness of ignorance, prejudice and hatred is lifted and dissolved by the love and the light of truth. Offering the vision of “Jerusalem” as an antidote to nihilism, prejudice and xenophobia, the Jerusalem Peace Memorial is “where dust becomes light.” As a German-based organization we feel responsible to help bring consciousness to the idea of Jerusalem in the world.
