Meir Panim Update
Meir Panim Appreciates Every Volunteer!
November 25, 2018

Meir Panim is honored to have many volunteers help at our Dimona free Restaurant-Style Soup Kitchen in southern Israel.

Recently, students from the Amit Eitan High School in Maale Adumim, located near Jerusalem, volunteered to help prepare fresh, hot lunches and serve patrons eating at the branch. This warm group of students brightened the day of everyone they encountered.

After helping prepare meals, cleaning and organizing and building, they learned about Meir Panim, the organization’s Holocaust Survivor Program and the need to feed those who do not know from where their next meal will come.

The students didn’t just walk out the door after this busy day. They stayed to mop the floors in order to ensure that the next day’s clients enter a clean and attractive building.

We thank Meir Panim’s dedicated Branch Manager Nissim, who spoke to and supervised the students and answered all of their questions.
